Inspired by jamu, Indonesia's long-standing tradition of fresh herbal tonics, our version combines turmeric, ginger, lemon, local honey and water. Turmeric contains curcuminoids and ginger contains gingerols and shogaols, naturally occurring plant compounds that have been widely studied. Honey rounds out the roots and makes this gentler to sip than a straight shot.
