2011
On December 29, 2011, Purée Juice Bar's Flagship Location opens on Bethesda Row. Our opening menu consisted of cold-pressed juice, cleanses, and made to order shakes.
Commissary
2013
Purée opens a commissary kitchen in Kensington MD and the commissary model is still operational for us today. The addition of house made raw vegan food and snacks are added to the menu.
expansion
2016
Our second location opens in the Mosaic District in Fairfax VA.
expansion + corporate
2017
Our third store opens inside the new wing of Sibley Hospital in Washington, DC. Significant increase in corporate clients including an NFL football team and a Fortune 100 company.
shipping + kosher certification
2019
Shipping nationwide launches with the introduction of our raw, frozen juice line. Subscription service begins for both shipping and local guests. Purée earns kosher certification from DC Kosher.
plant based soft serve + whole foods tysons
2020
Purée launches proprietary, organic, vegan soft serve, made with our famous juices as the base. Later in the year, Purée opens a fourth location located inside Whole Foods Market at Tysons Corner.

Purée was purchased by Dyala Madani & Kaveh Shirazi who are long time Purée customers with a passion for organic and healthy food. Their vision is to grow Purée without losing what makes it extraordinary, expanding the juice menu as well as smoothies, salads, and food, while sharing the joy of quality food. Purée's physical expansion includes two new stores in 2026 in Cabin John Village Potomac and Georgetown!
