On December 29, 2011, Purée Juice Bar's Flagship Location opens on Bethesda Row. Our opening menu consisted of cold-pressed juice, cleanses, and made to order shakes.
Purée opens a commissary kitchen in Kensington MD and the commissary model is still operational for us today. The addition of house made raw vegan food and snacks are added to the menu.
Purée purchases our first refrigerated truck, which opens up community partnerships for pickup throughout the DMV. Home and office delivery is also added for customers, along with online ordering.
Our second location opens in the Mosaic District in Fairfax VA.
Our third store opens inside the new wing of Sibley Hospital in Washington, DC. Significant increase in corporate clients including an NFL football team and a Fortune 100 company.
Shipping nationwide launches with the introduction of our raw, frozen juice line. Subscription service begins for both shipping and local guests. Purée earns kosher certification from DC Kosher.
Purée launches proprietary, organic, vegan soft serve, made with our famous juices as the base. Later in the year, Purée opens a fourth location located inside Whole Foods Market at Tysons Corner.
